START CUP Tuscany 2019 backs the most innovative ideas across tuscany. researchers and student entrepreneurs are invited to submit their application by Monday, september 30, 2019
Every year the Tuscany Start Cup competition recognizes the most innovative business ideas from students and researchers. This year, the Start Cup Award celebrates the latest technology companies with disruptive business models evaluated on criteria such as research impact, innovation and long-term vision.
The Start Cup Tuscany 2019 is hosted and organized by the University of Pisa, in collaboration with the University of Siena, University of Firenze, Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Scuola Normale Superiore, Scuola IMT Alti Studi Lucca and Scuola IUSS Pavia, as well as receiving financial support from the Tuscany Region authority. As part of PNI - Premio Nazionale per l’Innovazione national initiative, the Tuscany Start Cup winning team will attend the PNI - Premio Nazionale per l’Innovazione finale event in Catania on November 28-29, 2019.
The competition is open for applications from Tuscany region participants to compete for the best business plan. Only Tech entrepreneurs and business leaders in the early stages of their business (registered and active in 2019) are eligible to apply.
The initiative provides an opportunity for next generation ventures to display their innovative solutions at the award celebration on 25 October 2019 - Aula Magna room, Polo Fibonacci, Largo Bruno Pontecorvo 3 - Pisa.
